Optimizing Fertility Testing and Treatments

The book is divided into four sections:

1. The first section describes how the quality of eggs and sperm and the function of the Fallopian tubes contribute to the process of conception. It also addresses the issue of uterine receptivity and the relationship between one's age and the fertility potential.
   
   
2. The second section concentrates on the relationship between the fertility potential and one's diet, physical activity, exposure to various pollutants, and stress. For some couples, making a few adjustments in their lifestyles could make a profound difference in their probability of a pregnancy. You may be quite surprised which factors in your life could be decreasing your fertility.
   
   
3. The third section of the book contains the Fertility Assessment Algorithm™. This is the decision-tree "engine" of your fertility assessment.
   
   
4. The last section provides a detailed description of contemporary reproductive treatments including ovarian stimulation with injectable medications, intrauterine inseminations (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), oocyte (egg) donation, surrogacy, testicular and epididymal sperm aspiration, gender selection, and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).
